“Cardau” Densimeter Stand
double cylinder with cardanic suspension - chrome-plated metal body - densimeter reading on overflow surface level - milk discharge valve - control thermometer housing - for use with "Astell" densimeter - complete with clamp, epoxy-painted metal base and stainless steel rod - dim.: 50x120 h mm.
The stand was designed to make the complex procedure of reading milk densimeters faster and simpler. Thermometer and densimeter are permanently inserted in the inner cylinder, so there is no risk of breakage. During reading, milk overflows from the inner cylinder and is collected in the outer cylinder. Lifting the inner cylinder, milk in both cylinders is automatically discharged through the valve at the bottom. Vertical alignment of the stand is ensured by the cardanic suspension. Height adjustment allows readings to be taken under best conditions.
