“Agarfill” Preparator/Dispenser

made of boron-silicate glass and other autoclavable materials - used for sterilization and subsequent distribution of agar - adjustable volume dispenser - accurate to ± 0.5% - airtight lid - filler neck for the addition of heat-sensitive substances after sterilization - long, removable glass tip for transferring agar to tubes, vials and Petri dishes avoiding the formation of air bubbles - bottle of 2.5 litres max useful capacity.

Dehydrated medium and water are added direct to Agarfill's container. After sterilisation, upon reaching dispensing temperature, the desired volume of agar is dispensed to Petri dishes, tubes or vials simply by depressing the dispensing piston. A magnetic drive may be placed in the container to keep the agar constantly agitated.
