Working principle:

The aspirating head of the instrument is in contact with the surface to be sampled. A vacuum source aspirates air through a cartridge where a disposable filter traps all particles of mites, insects, dust, pollens, etc. that are normally non visible to the naked eye. The cartridge is then transferred to the laboratory. The filter is removed from the cartridge: a transparent plastic lid gives the possibility for a direct examination under a traditional or a scanning electronic microscope.
