Bags and Kits for Sampling Surfaces and Carcasses

“Sponge-Bag” Bags
made of high-strength plastic material - sterile - transparent whit writing strip - reinforced flat bottom - sterility guaranteed by tear-off seal strap - easy-zip closure - with dehydrated sampling sponge (dim. 35x75 mm) - ideal for microbiological testing of surfaces (Listeria, Salmonella and other pathogenic germs) and also for testing carcasses for E.coli bacteria (USA Federal Register Method)
Using this bag, microbiological samples can be taken from surfaces and safely carried to the lab for analysis. The sponge is rehydrated with a sterile physiological solution and rubbed on the surface to be tested. Code 16501 is recommended for use with "Stomacher" 400, 3500 and similar homogenisers.

“Carcass-Sampling-Kit” System
self-contained kit for microbiological testing of surfaces (Listeria, Salmonella and other pathogenic germs) and also for testing carcasses for E.coli bacteria (USA Federal Register Method) - kit includes one sterile "Sponge-Bag" with dehydrated sponge, one pair of sterile gloves, two sterile sample frames (one for animal carcasses and one for aviculture products) and one 25-ml bottle of Butterfield sterile solution.

| A practical system, simple and quick to use: just moisten the "Sponge-Bag" sponge with half of the Butterfield sterile solution and rub both its sides, after having positioned the sample frame, on the surface or carcass; replace the sponge in the "Sponge-Bag" and add the remaining sterile solution before analysing the contents. |

“Sampol” Bags
for microbiological testing surfaces and aviculture products for escherichia coli and other pathogenic germs - ethylene oxide sterilised - dim.: 375x500 mm.
"Sampol" is used for sampling chicken and turkey products. The search for escherichia coli is performed by placing the product in the bag, adding 400 ml of Butterfield sterile solution for chicken, or 600 ml for turkey, shaking the closed bag and pouring out the liquid to be analysed.
