PRESTO-LINE SAMPLER FOR BAGS - Code: 22364
If the liquid is a long way down, use “PRESTO-LINE” sampler to reach it. With 762 mm of cord, this unit will go a long way to collect a sample. The heavy bag holder will submerse the sampling bag below the surface for easy sample collection. Specially designed to hold any size “Presto-Chiuso” bag (see page 86), the holder uses a retainer ring to secure the bag firmly in place. Even in a fast flowing stream, the bag will not come loose. The unit comes in a convenient carrying case with three sizes of retainer rings to hold “Presto-Chiuso” bags.
Application - For sampling liquids from tanks, vats, streams, ponds or lake.
Sites of use - Sea, lake, well, canal, tank water.
Construction - Nylon cord, urethane bag holder.
Method of use - Fix the “Presto-Chiuso” bag to the retainer ring. Submerse the sampling bag below the water surface for collecting it. Lift the sampler, remove the bag and close it to transport the sample.

PRESTO-POLE SAMPLER FOR BAGS - Code: 22365
When you need to collect a sample in a size “Presto-Chiuso” bag but you cannot reach the material, use “PRESTO-POLE” sampler. Specially designed to hold any size bag, the holder uses a retainer ring to secure the bag firmly in place.
Even in a fast flowing stream, the bag will not come loose. The pole extents from 182 to 366 mm, has a swinging end, and comes with three sizes of retainer rings to hold “Presto-Chiuso” bags. Application - For sampling liquids from tanks, vats, streams, ponds or lake. Sites of use - Sea, lake, well, canal, tank water. Construction - Fiberglass pole, urethane bag holder. Method of use - Fix the “Presto-Chiuso” bag to the retainer ring. Submerse the sampling bag below the water surface for collecting it. Lift the sampler, remove the bag and close it to transport the sample. |

MARE LACUS KIT - Code: 5278
A set for deep sampling for lake, river, or sea water, etc. It gives the possibility to collect water samples at a predetermined depth in sterile or non-sterile conditions (maximum depth 15 meters).
Applications - Sea, lake, well, canal, tank water.
Sites of use - Water authority, all industries.
Construction - Case made of shatter-proof plastic material containing the “Profundus” stainless steel and PTFE Teflon sampler, a glass container and a rope coil.
Method of use - The glass container screwed to the metallic sampler is dropped into the water; when it reaches the required depth a sharp pull of the rope opens the mouth of the container allowing the water to flow in the sampler. A second sharp pull of the rope closes the mouth of the container. The opening and closing operations of the cap are commanded by a magnetic system. The stabilizing disc will facilitate the bottle opening and closure. |

Method of use - The cover of the plastic container has two connections: one for the aspirating tubing and one for the vacuum source. The end of the aspirating tubing is placed in the liquid to be sampled; the vacuum produced by the hand operated pump sucks the liquid into the container. At the end of the sampling, the cover is removed and replaced by a sealing cap. The sample is ready to be transferred to the laboratory for testing. The plastic containers and cover can be autoclaved for sterile sampling. |

JUDJE SLUDGE SAMPLER - Code: 34946/34947
The sludge “Judge” comes in 1.53 meters sections of plastic pipe with screw-type connectors. The top section includes a nylon line for raising and lowering the sampler. Individual sections can be combined as required to achieve the length needed. Do not use in liquids over 74 °C (165 °F).
Application - To take accurate readings of settled solids, 5% or less, in a variety of liquids.
Sites of use - Sewage treatment plants, chemical plants, food processing facilities. Construction - Plastic pipe.
Method of use - 1. Slowly lower the sampler to the bottom of the tank. A) The float valve opens, allowing materials to flow in. When the bottom has been reached and the pipe has filled to the surface level, tug slightly on the rope as the unit is raised. B) This sets the check valve, trapping the mixture inside.
2. When the unit has been raised clear of the liquid, the amount of solids in the sample can be read using the increments marked on the pipe sections.
3. To release the material in the unit, touch the pin extending from the bottom section against a hard surface; this opens the check valve to drain the sample. |
