Pharmaceutical Grade Sampling
TIPHA SAMPLER - Code: 15547
For taking samples from the bottom of containers to check for layering, contamination or settling out.
Applications - Liquids in general.
Sites of use - Pharmaceutical, chemical, food industries.
Construction - “Tipha” sampler is manufactured in AISI 316 stainless steel and food grade materials. All welds are crevice free.
Method of use - 1) Insert “Tipha” sampler into the product and push down onto the base of the container. 2) As the handle is pushed down the spring inside the body moves down. This action causes the seal to move away from the entry hole allowing liquid to enter the main body;
to close the entry hole release the handle. 3) When the sampler is full the product can be deposited into a smaller collection container by repeating the above procedure.

PLUNGE SAMPLER - Code: 15553
The sampler can be used for collection of product from any depth required in a vessel. Its special design ensures that product does not enter the collection cup until the desired location in the vessel is reached.
Applications - Liquids in general including those which contain solid products in the form of small chunks or particles.
Sites of use - Pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
Construction - All parts are in high quality stainless steel. Welds are ground smooth and crevice free for easy and total cleaning.
Method of use - 1) The “Plunge” sampler is inserted into the product to the required depth. The tension on the top spring means that the collection pot lid remains tightly closed. 2) The top handle is pressed downwards thus creating a gap between the collection pot and its lid. 3) When the collection pot is full, release the top handle and the sample, is locked inside. 4) Once removed from the vessel the collection pot can be separated from the inner rod simply by unscrewing. The sample can then be deposited into a suitable container.

BIKE INOX - Code: 16872
“BIKE-INOX” is used for sampling liquid products from big containers.
Application - Liquids.
Sites of use - Pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
Construction - Cylinder made in AISI 316 stainless steel, Teflon rod.
Method of use - The sampler is submerged into the product at the desired depth. Pulling on the handle, the rod is extracted to the fifth notch for a full-capacity sample (each notch equals about 6 mL). The sample is released into the test container by pushing on the handle.

VISCO SAMPLER - Code: 15551
For removal or transfer of viscous and semiviscous materials.
Applications - Viscous and semiviscous materials including creams, ointments, etc.
Sites of use - Pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical industries.
Construction - Made in AISI 316 stainless steel with Teflon PTFE plunger tip.
Method of use - The sampler is inserted into the product and the sample is removed withdrawing the handle. To deposit the sample simply push the handle down.

| |
COHESIVE-SAMPLER - Code: 34937
Using this “COHESIVE-SAMPLER” samples can be taken from cohesive and caked material. Collection chambers with different capacities from 0.25 to 1 mL can be exchanged simply. T-grip for simple handling.
Application - For cohesive materials.
Sites of use - Pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
Construction - Made in AISI 316 stainless steel, surface electro-polished.
Method of use - Insert the sampler into the products at the desired depth, open the collection chamber rotating the handle, collect the sample, close the chamber and remove the sampler.

PELICAN MULTILEVEL SAMPLER - Code: 15550
For automatic collection of multilevel samples of tablets, capsules and other free- flowing products as they are collected during manufacture or filling.
Applications - Automatic collection of multilevel samples of pellets, capsules, tablets.
Site of use - Pharmaceutical, feed and chemical industries.
Construction - Constructed in AISI 316 stainless steel.
Method of use
1) Place sampler in empty vessel.
2) Product will fall into the sampler as the vessel is filled.
3) The product falls through external sampler pockets.
4) Remove the full sampler.
5) The product is released through the top of sampler.

ROCKET SAMPLE PROBE - Code: 15548
It can be used to sample most dry products including powders, granules, etc. from a range of containers.
Designed to minimise jamming due to trapped product. The device can be totally stripped down for quick and efficient cleaning: the screw-on stainless steel tip is removable, the inner rod can be pulled out of the outer barrel.
Applications - Powder, granules, flour, sugar.
Sites of use - Pharmaceutical, cosmetic, agro-food, dairy and feed industries.
Construction - Manufactured in high quality AISI 316 stainless steel and food grade materials, crevice free and high polish finish.
Method of use - 1) The sampler is pushed into the product to the required depth with the tip withdrawn. 2) The handle is then pushed down thus pushing the tip into the product. 3) To secure the sample around the tip the barrel is pushed down. 4) To deposit the sample push down the handle and the product will fall into a receiving container.

MULTILEVEL SECTOR PROBE - Code: 15552
For sampling a range of free flowing dry products at various levels. The inner rod has pockets cut into it which correspond with holes of the same dimensions on the outer barrel. When the pockets in the inner rod match up with the outer barrel holes the pockets are open and the product will enter the sampler. This sampler is similar to the “Multipro” sector probe, but the outside barrel is made in 316 stainless steel and the inside rod is in Teflon PTFE.
Applications - Granules (REMARK: this sampler is not acceptable for fine or gritty materials; this causes jamming of the core in the barrel).
Sites of use - Pharmaceutical, food and feed industries.
Construction - The outside barrel is made in AISI 316 stainless steel. The inside rod is in Teflon PTFE.
Method of use - The sampler is inserted into the product with the pockets closed. The pockets are then opened by turning the handle 180 degrees. Product will now enter the pockets. When the pockets are full, turn the handle another 180 degrees to close. The samples are now locked inside the outer barrel. To deposit the sample put the sampler into a receiving container and turn the handle 180 degrees to open the pockets.

NEEDLE SAMPLER PROBE - Code: 15549
Expecially useful for single samples from polyethylene or paper bags, the needle point sampler punctures the bag with minimum damage.
Applications - Powders, granules, crystals.
Sites of use - Pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
Construction - Made in AISI 316 stainless steel.
Method of use - The probe enters into the bag and is pulled out with sample ready to be poured out of the hollow handle. A bag or a container can be positioned over the handle for sample collection. The hole on the side of the bag can be then closed with adhesive tape or with the appropriate label.

PIC-INOX SAMPLE PROBE - Code: 17403
Specially designed for single samples from polyethylene or paper bags, the needle point sampler punctures the bag with minimum damage.
Application - Powder, granules, crystals.
Sites of use - Pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
Construction - Made in AISI 316 stainless steel.
Method of use - The probe enters in the bag and is pulled out with sample ready to be poured out of the hollow handle. The large tip diameter allows the material (even in big chips) to flow freely into the sampler. A bag or a container can be positioned over the handle for sample collection. The hole on the side of the bag can be closed with adhesive tape or with the appropriate label. |
