 Containers for transport of samples from the sampling site to the laboratory must be of the correct technical quality but also economical. The container should guarantee a hermetic seal, not to tranfer smells with the tests to be carried out, should be easily transportable and unbreakable and unwiedly, should have an opening that makes filling easy, should have a write on panel for the sample identification without using adhesive labels and should be easily disposed of after use. In the case of samples for microbiological analysis, the container should be sterile and its sterility should be demonstrated until the sample is taken.
Considering all these requirements the “Presto-Chiuso”sterile disposable bag system has been studied. These bags are ideal for sampling liquid, solid and semi-solid products of every kind. The double wire and the tape aid in opening and closing the bag and avoiding finger contamination. The rigid wires keep the bag opened when filling. The bend of double wire and the whirl of the bag assure a hermetic seal. There is a special seal all around the bag for extra security. The pull tabs assist in opening the top and the write on area allows samples identification.

 Would you like to have both hands free when working with a sample bag? “PRESTO-CHIUSO STAND-UP” bag give you the freedom to perform important laboratory functions with both hands, because it will stand-up completely by itself. No rack or other holder is needed to keep the bag upright. When the sample is placed inside, the special gusseted bottom flattens out, allowing the bag to stand up on its own. It works just like a beaker or bottle, however, it costs less, is sterilized, won’t break, and uses only a fraction of storage space as the other containers. Available in three sizes with a convenient write-on strip for easy sample identification.
