LARGE-SAMPLING-SPOON - Code: 34984
Sterilware large sampling spoon with extra sturdy handle. Allows easy sample collection of several products. Large capacity for sample collection from wide mouth containers.
Application - Solid, semi-solid, viscous materials.
Sites of use - Pharmaceutical, chemical, food industries.
Construction - White polystyrene.

FORK-KNIFE CUTTER - Code: 37158
Designed for handling samples of soft, moist foods and materials. The three-tined fork has a sharp rocker knife on its back edge and a sturdy handle for a positive grip when manipulating even the toughest samples.
Application - Solid materials.
Sites of use - Pharmaceutical, chemical, food industries.
Construction - White polycarbonate, autoclavable.
Method of use - The tool is sold in pairs so that one fork can be used to hold the material on a flat surface or cutting board, while the other tool is used to cut off a sample. Once cut the, the sample can be picked up by the three tined fork.

SPATULES RODS - Code: 13432/13433
These rods are designed for sampling soap, grease, pastes, etc.
Made of white polystyrene with knurled handle. Available in two sizes.

MINI-TONGS SAMPLER - Code: 33229
The sterilware Mini-Tongs provide an economical, practical solution to applications demanding small-sizes sterile tong. Because of their low cost, these one-use tongs can be disposed of after use, eliminating cleaning and sterilizing procedures, as well as the risk of contamination.
Application – Solid materials.
Sites of use – Pharmaceutical, chemical, food industries.
Construction – White polystyrene.

FORPIN TWEEZERS - Code: 5677/5678
Disposable tweezers made of white reinforced nylon or blue polystyrene (PS).
With straight knurled tips.

CEBU CONICAL SAMPLER - Code: 5594
A smooth sampler for the extraction of a “plug” of material from bags of cheese, grease, soap, clay, etc.
Applications - Cheese, margarine, soap, grease, clay.
Sites of use - Dairy, food, chemical, pharmaceutical industries.
Construction - Made in stainless steel - sterilisable - “T” handle.
Method of use - The sharp end of the sampler will cut through a bag or box. Twisting the handle one half turn will cut out a conical plug of material. The produced hole on the side of the bag or product is closed by adhesive tape or wax.

STUVE PISTON SAMPLER - Code: 4747
The end of the tube is sharp for puncturing boxes, bales or bags containing soft pasty materials.
Applications - Soft pasty material.
Sites of use - Cosmetic and chemical industries.
Construction - Made in chromium plated brass - sterilisable - complete with an expelling plunger.
Method of use - After removing it from the container, the sampler is emptied by pushing the plunger through, thus releasing the sample into a beaker or other suitable sample container.

SAMPLIT SAMPLER - Code: 37211/37212
This sample collection scoop and container is all-in-one device. The sturdy scoop is molded into the lid; the unique design allows the lid to screw onto the vial. The cap has an integral seal ring which interfaces with the top of the vial to create a leak-free container. “Samplit” is available sterile or non-sterile.
Application - Solid and semi-solid materials.
Sites of use - Pharmaceutical, chemical, food, feed, dairy industries.
Construction - White polystyrene scoop, transparent polystyrene container.
Method of use - Collect the sample using the scoop and insert it into the container. Samples are immediately isolated in the clear, styrene vial and capped for storage and transport.

ICE-SAMPLER - Code: 34966
“ICE-SAMPLER” is developed for sampling from frozen materials and similar substances. Sampler is electropolished and does not have any flutes for perfect and easy cleaning.
Application - For deep-frozen products.
Sites of use - Food industry, health authority.
Construction - Made of AISI 304 electropolished stainless steel, sterilisable.
Method of use - The probe screws into the sample material and simultaneously extracts and conveys the sample into the sampling cylinder. The sampling cylinder is detachable.

SURGEL CYLINDRICAL PROBE - Code: 4760
This sampler is invaluable for the proper sampling of frozen products packed in bulk. Use with electrical drill.
Applications - Frozen goods.
Sites of use - Food industry; health authority.
Construction - Made in stainless steel - standard connection for use with electric drill - complete with expelling rod - sterilisable.
Method of use - The “Surgel” probe is fixed to an electric drill. The drill is activated and then pushed against the frozen surface to be sampled. The sample is made easy by the counter clockwise rotation of the drill. The “carrot” is estracted from the probe with a rod and pushed into the sampling container. All these operations are aseptically performed in case of microbiological analysis.

ICEPROBE CYLINDRICAL PROBE - Code: 4758
For sterile sampling of ice-cream and similar products. The probe is completed with a special Pirex test tube for transport of the sample to the laboratory.
Applications - Ice-cream.
Sites of use - Food industry, ice-cream producers, health authority.
Construction - Stainless steel and chromium plated brass cylindrical probe with handle, Pirex glass test tube - sterilisable - a rack for 12.
Iceprobes is available for easy transport of the samplers.
Method of use - The sterilised cylindrical probe is estracted from the test tube and inserted into the sample. The probe is transferred into the test tube and in this condition is delivered to the laboratory for testing. During the transport the temperature should be maintained at -20 °C.
All the above operations should be aseptically performed.

SOIL SAMPLING KIT - Code: 5898
A compact kit for sampling of hard, soft or sandy soil.
Applications - Soil, sand.
Sites of use - Geology Institutes, agriculture organisations.
Construction - Complete with one handle, one auger, one cylinder, two extension rods - a light and shatter-proof plastic carrying case is available for easy transport of the sampler.
Method of use - Assemble all the parts to obtain the soil sampler. Remove surface stones and other debris from the surface of the soil to be sampled.
Hard Soil - Place the cylinder on the ground: insert auger through the cylinder. Position the auger vertically and apply pressure whilst turning the handle until the drill has reached a depth of approx. 20 mm or is firm. Now a minimun amount of pressure should be applied to keep the drill cutting until the full length of the auger is buried into the soil. Release pressure and make a complete turn sharply withdrawing the auger from the soil. This will remove the bulk of the soil from the hole.
Soft Soil - Use of the cylinder is optional. For easy operation, follow these instructions. Start the drill one or two turns; stop and pull up slightly to break the drill loose from the soil. Then turn one half turn and repeat the above mentioned procedure. To obtain a full auger, make about three turns and then pull the auger and remove soil. For deeper
sampling, proceed as above.
Sand - Use cylinder and follow instructions for soft soil.

NUTRIMENTA KIT - Code:5276
A complete set of samplers and digital thermometer in a shatter proof material carrying case.
Sites of use - Food, feed, dairy industries; official
laboratories; health authority.
