Container “Bio-Carrier”

container for transport of biological samples taken at patient’s home and of antiblastic drugs - foldaway handle for easy stackability of several units - lugs to facilitate stacking - completely removable lid to facilitate cleaning - “Biological Risk” logo conforming to current directives - container body etched with World Health Organisation emergency procedures to follow in cases of accidents during transport - personnalesable with own data/logo - shock-proof construction of lightweight material -equipped with special seal to guarantee air tightness in conformity with safety standards - tamper-proof lockable with padlock or seal - storage compartment accessible from lid: it can carry syringes, empty tubes, gloves, etc…. - complete with absorbent holder usable as test-tube carrier (up to one hundred 13 mm test-tubes or eighty 16 mm test-tubes).

Conforming to guidelines of the World Health Organisation (WHO/EMC/97.3) and to UNI EN 829 standards: the BIO-CARRIER containers are to be considered as secondary containers: “containers made of resistant, leak-proof and water tight materials, suitable to contain and protect primary containers”.

Additional packing for “Bio-Carrier” in case of transport of Infectious samples, B – ADR class
Insert the tube holder inside the “Bio-Pouch” bag, code 89506, resistant to 95 kPa.
Attach UN 3373, code 87513 label on the external container.
Indicate clearly sender and receiver data as requested by ADR.

For external transport of “Bio-Carrier” the “Trunk” container may be used; equipped with holders for eutectic plates in order to reduce the inside temperature during transport.
